About Me
MY wife & I are avid collectors of early days farm related items. We both are Volunteers at our City's Historic Village, Machinery Museum & reconstructed 1875 NWMP Fort. I am an ametuer Blacksmith, and volunteer during the summer preforming Blacksmith demonstrations. The Historic Village has a fully equiped Blacksmith Shop. Our collection of "stuff" includes, cream cans, crocks, anvil, Blacksmith forge, leg vise, tools, blowtorches, cistern pump, sewing machine, forged school bell, walking plow, etc.
How many cream separators do you own?
Two. Both are "Domo Junior" model 0.30, floor mount. One is complete with all parts, even some new spare parts. It has the original manual "Instructions for Hand Separators" included!
How long have you owned cream separators?
Purchased summer of 2016, at a farm estate auction.
Any additional information about your interest in separators?
Watching for bench mount model this summer. The International model that had the electric motor drive option is of interest. A friend has an immaculate separator of this type, from his Grandfathers farm. |

I live in east central Kansas. I have a small herd of Braunvieh cows of which I milk a couple. I have a 1933 #16 Delaval that I use frequently. I also have a Royal blue junior #33 and a Montgomery Wards Junior #33.
